At the heart of the BAD-ASS-PRO is a reversible center core that provides both 0°–90° standard throw and 0°–60° short-throw options built into the selector. The included standard and short levers are fully modular and interchangeable, allowing configuration for left- or right-handed shooters and personalized ergonomics.

Compatibility is a key advantage. The BAD-ASS-PRO is designed to be 100% compatible with AR-variant lower receivers and triggers that function with a Mil-Spec AR-15 semi-auto safety. No short-throw relief cut is required on the receiver—simply apply the provided short-throw markings sticker when using the 60° setting.

To address the most common ambidextrous safety failure points, Battle Arms incorporates a patent-pending dovetail interface and an internal locking mechanism intended to eliminate loose levers and reduce hardware failures associated with traditional screw-head designs. A 5/64” set screw is utilized and designed for improved resistance to stripping.
