The BATTLEARMS BAD-ASS-LITE is the next-generation lightweight ambidextrous safety selector from the innovators who introduced the first fully modular, patented ambidextrous selector for the AR-15 platform. Built for serious reliability and broad compatibility, the BAD-ASS-LITE delivers a confident, positive selector feel with a rugged, modern design—without the common issues found in traditional ambi safeties.

This professional-grade semi-auto selector uses CNC-machined billet 7075-T6 aluminum skeletonized levers for strength with reduced weight. It comes standard with a precision Swiss CNC-machined, reversible steel safety core that supports both 0°–90° standard throw and 0°–60° short-throw options. The included standard and short levers are fully modular and interchangeable, allowing you to configure the selector to your preferred handedness and ergonomics.

Compatibility is a major focus of the BAD-ASS-LITE. It is designed to be 100% compatible with AR-variant lower receivers and triggers that work with a “Mil-Spec” AR-15 semi-auto safety. No short-throw relief cut is required on the lower receiver—simply use the included short-throw markings sticker when running the 60° throw option.

Battle Arms also engineered the BAD-ASS-LITE to help eliminate the most common failure points of ambidextrous selectors. The selector lever interface features a patent-pending dovetail design and an internal locking mechanism intended to prevent loose/wiggling levers and reduce the chance of hardware failures. A 5/64” set screw is utilized and designed for improved resistance to stripping.
