Learn more about lighting accessories

Lighting accessories support the power, control, mounting, maintenance, and everyday use of compatible weapon lights, handheld flashlights, laser systems, headlamps, lanterns, and other illumination equipment. Because batteries, chargers, switches, connectors, tailcaps, and replacement components can be model-specific, compatibility should always be verified.

Flashlight & Weapon Light Batteries

Lighting products may use disposable lithium batteries, alkaline batteries, rechargeable lithium-ion cells, integrated rechargeable packs, or manufacturer-specific battery systems. Use only battery types approved for the specific device.

Rechargeable Batteries

Rechargeable cells can reduce reliance on disposable batteries and may be useful for frequently used lighting equipment. Cell size alone does not guarantee compatibility, as voltage, chemistry, protected-cell dimensions, and discharge requirements can differ.

Battery Chargers

Chargers may support removable rechargeable cells, USB charging, USB-C charging, magnetic systems, vehicle charging, or other manufacturer-specific power formats. Match the charger to the correct battery chemistry and voltage requirements.

Remote Switches & Pressure Pads

Remote switches allow compatible weapon lights or laser systems to be activated from a separate control location. Pressure pads, buttons, plugs, cables, and electronic interfaces are often product-family-specific.

Choosing Lighting Accessories

  • Device Compatibility: Match batteries, switches, chargers, and replacement parts to the exact light, laser, or accessory model.
  • Battery Specifications: Confirm size, chemistry, voltage, polarity, and rechargeability.
  • Connector Type: Verify switch, charging, cable, and adapter interfaces before selecting accessories.
  • Intended Use: Determine whether the accessory is needed for power, control, charging, maintenance, replacement, or adaptation.

Tailcaps

Tailcaps can provide battery retention, switching functions, or connection points for compatible remote controls. Thread dimensions and electrical interfaces can differ between manufacturers and even between product families from the same brand.

Switch Adapters

Adapters can allow certain lights or laser systems to work with compatible remote-switch platforms. Verify both mechanical and electrical compatibility before combining components.

Charging Cables & USB Accessories

Rechargeable lighting equipment may use USB-C, micro-USB, magnetic connectors, proprietary plugs, or removable-cell charging systems. Use cables and power sources that meet the manufacturer's requirements.

Replacement Parts

Depending on the lighting product, replacement components may include battery doors, lenses, bezels, clips, switches, seals, O-rings, screws, mounts, cables, or other service parts. Confirm the exact model before ordering replacement components.

Filters & Diffusers

Compatible filters, diffusers, and lens accessories can alter beam color, spread, or output characteristics. Some are intended for hunting, navigation, signaling, or specialized field use.

Lens & Bezel Accessories

Protective lenses, replacement bezels, and related accessories may help maintain compatible lights after wear or damage. These parts are often model-specific and should not be assumed interchangeable.

Pocket Clips, Holsters & Carry Accessories

Handheld lights may support replacement pocket clips, lanyards, holsters, pouches, or other carry accessories. Verify body diameter, mounting points, and manufacturer compatibility.

Battery Storage

Store batteries according to manufacturer recommendations and avoid loose storage where exposed terminals may contact conductive objects. Rechargeable cells should be handled and charged only with equipment appropriate for their battery chemistry.

Cold-Weather Performance

Temperature can affect battery output and runtime. Users who operate lighting equipment in cold environments should compare manufacturer guidance for battery chemistry, storage temperatures, and expected cold-weather performance.

Accessory Compatibility

Similar-looking components may use different voltages, connectors, threads, dimensions, electronic protocols, or battery specifications. Manufacturer compatibility information should take priority over appearance alone.

Inspection & Maintenance

Periodically inspect batteries, chargers, cables, switches, contacts, charging ports, seals, tailcaps, and replacement components for corrosion, wear, contamination, looseness, or damage. Follow the equipment manufacturer's maintenance and storage instructions.
