The forged and heat-treated 316L stainless steel case features a military-grade gunmetal titanium-carbide PVD coating, anti-shock movement mounting system, curved sapphire crystal, sapphire exhibition caseback, and 200-meter water resistance.
A matte-black dial, diamond-cut hands, and proprietary MDV® luminous technology provide excellent daytime clarity and a powerful green glow in dark conditions. Precision Automatic Movement
The Combat B69 is powered by the slim and dependable Miyota 9015 automatic movement. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it delivers a smooth sweeping seconds hand and supports both hand winding and hacking for precise time setting.
Each movement is regulated by LÜM-TEC in six positions to improve accuracy across the different orientations experienced during normal wear. The sapphire exhibition caseback provides a clear view of the automatic movement in operation.
Engineered for Hard Use
The Combat B69 case begins as forged surgical-grade 316L stainless steel. Forging realigns the steel’s grain structure, increases fatigue strength, and eliminates the voids and porosity that can occur in cast cases. Heat treatment further stabilizes and hardens the steel before the final finish is applied.
A bead-blasted surface produces a smooth satin appearance while improving resistance to scratches and small impacts. The military-grade gunmetal titanium-carbide PVD coating adds another protective layer, while the anti-fingerprint treatment helps resist oily marks and smudges.
Exceptional Low-Light Visibility
The matte-black dial and premium diamond-cut hands are treated with LÜM-TEC’s proprietary MDV® luminous technology. X1-grade Swiss C3 Super-LumiNova provides strong luminous performance and a highly visible green glow in dark and low-light conditions.
The luminous material is applied over a specially treated reflective base that directs more light through the front of the watch, improving nighttime visibility and overall dial performance.
Protection from the Elements
The thick, gently curved sapphire crystal provides excellent scratch resistance and a wide viewing angle. A military-grade anti-reflective coating is applied to the inside of the crystal to reduce glare without exposing the coating to external wear.
Dual Viton® crown seals, a threaded crown, and a tightly secured threaded caseback help protect the movement from water, salt, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. Every watch is pressure tested before leaving LÜM-TEC’s Ohio facility.
Comfortable and Secure Fit
The downward-curving lugs allow the 43mm case to wrap naturally around the wrist. Although the measured lug-to-lug length is 51.5mm, the pronounced curvature creates a more compact effective fit and makes the watch comfortable on a wide range of wrist sizes.
Two heavy-grade military nylon straps are included—one black and one gray—with matching gunmetal PVD hardware. Each pass-through strap runs behind both spring bars, helping keep the watch attached if one spring bar becomes damaged.
Ohio-Assembled Quality
Every LÜM-TEC watch is designed and engineered in Ohio, individually assembled by hand, and fully tested before shipment. The automatic movement is secured within LÜM-TEC’s proprietary anti-shock mounting system to help maintain reliability following accidental drops and hard impacts.
The Combat B69 Automatic is backed by a two-year limited warranty and LÜM-TEC’s lifetime service program, including complimentary timing adjustment, seal cleaning, and pressure testing.
