Description

Created for babies and children, the MIRA CM-3M CBRN Child Escape Respirator pairs an expandable protective hood with a powered blower and NBC filter. Its positive-pressure airflow helps make breathing easier than drawing through a filter alone, while the quick-deploy design supports rapid use when every second matters.

Made for users from age two through small teens, this complete system accommodates children’s needs with flexible carrying options and an integrated hydration system for drinking. Powered by four standard CR123A batteries, the blower delivers 45 liters per minute and operates for up to 15 hours continuously with fresh batteries.

  • Expandable hood made from four-layer PVC/nylon construction, tested for tear resistance to ASTM D882.
  • System tested for aerosol protection and up to 240 minutes of effective protection from mustard gas under MIL-STD-282 method 204.1.1.
  • Complete kit includes hood, blower, tubing, carrier, water bottle, and Israeli NBC filter.
  • Back carrier recommended for ages four and under; waist/belt mount for ages four and older.
  • Compact folded package stores conveniently in a backpack, vehicle trunk, or closet.
  • Blower can also connect to a compatible standard 40 mm NATO gas mask.
  • Made in Israel.

A compact emergency option for family preparedness, the CM-3M is designed to help protect the wearer from specified CBRN hazards when used with the appropriate filter. Respirators protect only the areas they cover; use and maintenance should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety guidance. Store it accessibly and familiarize caregivers with deployment before an emergency, and check batteries regularly as directed.
