The MDT CORE Bottom Metal upgrades compatible Savage 110 short-action rifles to accept AICS-pattern detachable box magazines. It provides hunters, precision shooters, and range users with access to a wider selection of magazine capacities.
Machined from 6061 aluminum, this bottom metal features an ambidextrous magazine latch for convenient operation from either side. Its enlarged trigger guard accommodates factory and many aftermarket triggers, while compatibility with the MDT Adjustable Magazine Latch allows magazine fitment to be fine-tuned.
Designed for Savage 110 short-action rifles equipped with factory AccuStocks or compatible Savage polymer stocks. Optional bedding pillars are required for applicable polymer-stock installations. Magazine, adjustable latch, and bedding pillars are not included.
