The MDT CORE Bottom Metal upgrades compatible Ruger American short-action rifles to accept AICS-pattern detachable box magazines. Precision-machined from 6061 aluminum, it provides a durable foundation for reliable magazine fit and feeding.
An ambidextrous magazine latch allows convenient operation from either side, while the enlarged trigger guard accommodates factory and many aftermarket triggers. The bottom metal is also compatible with the MDT Adjustable Magazine Latch for fine-tuning magazine positioning.
Designed for compatible Ruger American short-action models, including select Standard, Ranch, Predator, Compact, and Gen 2 rifles. Stock inletting and bedding requirements may vary; pillars are required when installing in a stock without a micro-chassis. Magazine and pillars are not included.
