The MDT Detachable-magazine Hunting Bottom Metal converts compatible Tikka T3 and T3x long-action rifle stocks for use with detachable AICS-pattern magazines. It provides a durable, lightweight magazine well and an adjustable release system designed for dependable hunting and field use.
A lockable magazine latch helps prevent accidental magazine drops, while adjustable latch tension allows the magazine fit and release feel to be tuned. Its slim profile minimizes snag points when moving through brush, climbing into a stand, or carrying the rifle over uneven terrain.
This long-action model fits compatible factory and aftermarket Tikka stocks with a CTR-style cutout. Stocks without an internal micro-chassis require bedding pillars. Minor fitting or inletting may be necessary depending on the stock. Magazine sold separately.
